Peter Abbs & “Ben”

We are pleased to announce a new fire investigation search dog team for Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service.

Peter Abbs & Ben completed training in June 2012 and were Certificated at the Fire Service College Moreton in Marsh.

Peters experience with working dogs greatly assisted his training with Ben and they are a highly effective team in the detection of accelerant substances in fire scenes.

Peter is a Station Manager based at Dereham, Higham and Whatton fire stations and now, with Ben, has a fire investigation role covering the whole county.

Ben is a black Cocker Spaniel from championship working trials stock and is simply brilliant!!
